With Tokyo Game Market in May, this post would be exceptionally long if I somehow managed to cover everything. So with that being said, here are a few highlights from May!
A New Solo Game by NS Miniatures
NS Miniatures, the makers of Dungeon Origami, among other miniature products, released 灰と剣の迷宮 (Hai to Tsurugi no Meikyuu; Labyrinth of Ash and Sword) that was been quite the hit. It sold out once, but preorders for the second run are open again. I’ll do a post about this once my copy arrives.
CCFolia for Switch 2

In a surprise for many, CCfolia announced a Switch 2 version. CCFolia is one of several domestic virtual tables, but they’ve branched out in a variety of directions, including a physical bookstore in Ikebukuro and a TRPG Rulebook App. Expected to go on sale November, 2026.
Dungeon Crawl Classics
A localized version of the DCC quick start rules was released by Kaizoku Press.Hobby Japan

Hobby Japan released a book of maps. Preorders sold out quickly, but it’s now available on a few sites. They also exhibited at the UKGE 2026, selling Queen’s Blade Adventure TRPG and Tactical Mapbook. I was a bit surprised by the former since it is not localized, so I’m curious about the reception.
Conos
In a bit of sad news, Conos is shuttering its virtual doors November 15th, 2026 due to health issues of its proprietor. Started in November 2016, the closure will bring a ten year run to a close.
English Wares Blade
The Wares Blade project has started an English-language X account @waresproject_en. Lots of art and info.
