The heat of August has given way to a chilly September, bringing summer to a close with a number of interesting announcements.
Fifth Edition Box Set
Hobby Japan continues their push on Fifth Edition with a physical box set for their heroic gothic horror setting 呪われしミストバロウ (The Cursed Mist Barrows). Pricing and release date have not been announced, but in addition to setting materials, contains a physical copy of Advanced Fifth Edition, which corresponds to SRD 5.2.1.

Group SNE price increase
Group SNE announced they’ll be increasing prices starting October 1st. Looking at the price list, products over ¥3,000 will increase ¥400 and products lower than that will increase ¥200.
Official Call of Cthulhu App Price Increase
Another price increase, Kadokawa’s official Call of Cthulhu plans will increase in price starting October 1st. They also announced three new scenario books added to the premium plan.
Custom Character Sheet Site release
A new multi-system character sheet management site キャラッシュ (Charash) was launched. It supports Call of Cthulhu and Emoklore (エモクロア), among others.
Gundam Assemble Learn to Play Events
Bandai’s hex-based miniature game will be having learn to play events starting at the end of September. An account on their tabletop game site will be required for registration.
